US legislators from both parties are assigning blame as many of workers are on furlough and the shutdown continues with no end in view.

The Democratic Party have resisted to support the Republican budget proposal unless expiring insurance support that they say many laboring parents depend on are renewed.

Republicans expect the opposition to pass a temporary legislation beforehand and then they can discuss the financial aid.

The Republicans have fifty-three votes, they require 60 to enact the legislation. Is it that difficult to come together over seven supporters so that the public are protected?

If this continues for a few more weeks, the truth is US citizens are being hurt, the populace are being influenced by this and a leader should do something to be the responsible party in the group.

I think sometimes politicians are so removed from ordinary citizens, the average individual going about their day, so they overlook what the challenge is like and I feel they must factor that in, particularly if it's three-quarters of a million US citizens that are not getting paid.

That's a lot of citizens not getting paid, that's a large group of people unable to inject their money toward the market. Americans are just being hurt.

I'm nervous because there is no good outcome with the government being shut down.
