Followers Call for Arrest of Person Who Grabbed Ariana Grande
Loyal supporters of Ariana Grande are calling for that a individual who breached a barrier and seized the performer during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or expelled from Singapore.
A circulating footage reveals the individual from Australia pushing past photographers and lunging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a event pathway accompanied by fans.
Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the event by security officers.
Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being taken in", though legal records showed that he was scheduled to attend court on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account contains recordings of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney show in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last year.
"There needs to be action applied against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," commented an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.
"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user remarked.
Supporters Express Concern Over Ariana's Safety
Numerous fans accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed experiencing PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.
"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote a further response on Instagram.

In clips spreading on the internet, Grande looked startled when she was touched by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.
